The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw Driver is a highly capable color laser multifunction printer (MFP) with decidedly light-duty paper handling. It delivers fast speed, high-quality text and graphics output, and support for both printing through the cloud and via Wi-Fi from mobile devices. The low paper capacity—just 150 sheets—keeps it small enough to be a good choice for a micro office or personal use.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw Driver at HP is similar in some ways to the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw. which is the next step down in HP's LaserJet Pro MFP line. However, it delivers a lot more capability for only a small jump in price. Both printers offer a 150-sheet capacity, for example, but the M277dw adds a duplexer (for two-sided printing) and a one-sheet manual feed, making it easy to feed different paper stock for short documents without having to swap out paper in the main tray.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw Driver offers slightly better paper handling for scanning as well, with a letter-size flatbed and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), which can handle up to legal-size pages. It's also significantly faster on our tests and delivers higher-quality text and graphics output. It doesn't do as good a job with photos as the HP M177fw, but for most offices, that's the least important kind of output.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw Driver basic MFP features include printing from and scanning to a computer plus working as a standalone copier and fax machine. Going a little beyond basics, it can print from and scan to a USB memory key, including printing Word, PowerPoint, and PDF files. According to HP, it can also fax from a PC, using the software it comes with for Windows 7 versions SP1 and above or using HP's universal fax driver, which you can download from its website.
